The Magic of Winter Holidays Brings Us Together


    In December, our partner kindergartens successfully carried out Activity 2 - “The Magic of Winter Holidays Brings Us Together”, a joyful international event celebrating friendship, cultural diversity, and the shared spirit of the winter holidays.

    The activity started with an international virtual meeting held on the Google Meet platform, during which children and teachers from all partner countries met online. The meeting took place at 10:15 AM (Romanian time) and offered a wonderful opportunity for young learners to get to know one another in a warm and festive atmosphere.
    Throughout the online session, children enthusiastically introduced themselves, exchanged smiles and greetings, and participated in a cultural exchange by singing Christmas carols or winter songs specific to their countries. Each group proudly presented a song reflecting their national traditions, helping children discover how winter holidays are celebrated in different cultures. The meeting concluded with heartfelt winter greetings, strengthening the sense of unity among all participants.
    Following the virtual event, each kindergarten organized a creative workshop in their classrooms. During these activities, children expressed their imagination and creativity by making winter greeting cards inspired by the holiday season. Photos from the workshops and selected cards were uploaded to a shared Canva platform, allowing all participating kindergartens to admire the beautiful creations. Children enjoyed exploring the cards made by their peers from other countries, promoting interaction and appreciation in a child-friendly digital environment.
    This activity successfully combined digital collaboration, cultural exchange, creativity, and emotional connection. It supported the development of openness toward other cultures, enhanced communication skills, and reinforced essential values such as friendship, cooperation, and respect.
    “The Magic of Winter Holidays Brings Us Together” proved to be a meaningful and memorable experience for both children and teachers, highlighting how shared celebrations can bring young learners closer, even across borders.
