Teachers’ Pre-test Results

As part of our Friends of Technology project, we created a survey for participating preschool teachers to better understand their backgrounds, experiences, and expectations regarding the use of technology in early childhood education.

The survey explored teachers’ familiarity with eTwinning projects, their use of Web 2.0 tools in the classroom, and their confidence in introducing technology-based activities to young learners. It also asked teachers about their expectations for student engagement during project activities.

Teachers shared their motivations for joining the project, including collaboration with peers, learning new digital tools, and cultural exchange. The survey also gathered insights on how teachers anticipate the project might influence their professional development, future teaching practices, and parent involvement.

By conducting this survey, we aim to design project activities that are inclusive, engaging, and meaningful for teachers, students, and families. The feedback collected will guide us in creating a collaborative learning experience that fosters digital skills development and strengthens cooperation across our project community.

The survey results are available at the link below: https://school-education.ec.europa.eu/en/etwinning/projects/friends-technology/twinspace/pages/teachers-pre-test-post-test

Logo Survey Results

As part of our Friends of Technology eTwinning project, the children from our partner kindergarten classes in Romania, Greece, and Turkey participated in a collaborative vote to select the project logo. This activity not only encouraged creativity and visual expression but also strengthened the sense of connection between our young learners across countries. We are pleased to announce that the logo designed by the Kindergarten with Extended Program ”Căsuța Bucuriei” Number 11 - ”Little Stars” (Romania) received the highest number of votes. This logo emerged as the clear favorite among the children, gathering nearly one-quarter of all responses and standing out for its joyful design and strong visual appeal. The Greek kindergartens, particularly those from Galatista, also received considerable support. Their logos captured a significant share of votes, reflecting the talent, imagination, and artistic sensitivity of the young participants. Alth...

The Magic of Winter Holidays Brings Us Together

In December, our partner kindergartens successfully carried out Activity 2 - “The Magic of Winter Holidays Brings Us Together”, a joyful international event celebrating friendship, cultural diversity, and the shared spirit of the winter holidays.     The activity started with an international virtual meeting held on the Google Meet platform, during which children and teachers from all partner countries met online. The meeting took place at 10:15 AM (Romanian time) and offered a wonderful opportunity for young learners to get to know one another in a warm and festive atmosphere.     Throughout the online session, children enthusiastically introduced themselves, exchanged smiles and greetings, and participated in a cultural exchange by singing Christmas carols or winter songs specific to their countries. Each group proudly presented a song reflecting their national traditions, helping children discover how winter holidays are celebrated in different cultu...
