As part of our Friends of Technology project, we created a survey for participating preschool teachers to better understand their backgrounds, experiences, and expectations regarding the use of technology in early childhood education.
The survey explored teachers’ familiarity with eTwinning projects, their use of Web 2.0 tools in the classroom, and their confidence in introducing technology-based activities to young learners. It also asked teachers about their expectations for student engagement during project activities.
Teachers shared their motivations for joining the project, including collaboration with peers, learning new digital tools, and cultural exchange. The survey also gathered insights on how teachers anticipate the project might influence their professional development, future teaching practices, and parent involvement.
By conducting this survey, we aim to design project activities that are inclusive, engaging, and meaningful for teachers, students, and families. The feedback collected will guide us in creating a collaborative learning experience that fosters digital skills development and strengthens cooperation across our project community.
